Start with the customer’s request

Keep the invitation, platform name, hiring-client name and requested deadline together. Identify whether you are opening an account, adding a connection or responding to an existing review.

Identify the company information owner

Choose who can verify your legal company name, contact details, services performed and questionnaire responses. Avoid reusing old answers without checking that they still reflect the business.

Locate the supporting documents

  • Current insurance documents from your agent or insurer.
  • Existing written safety programs and manuals.
  • Relevant company records requested by the platform.
  • Review comments and a list of outstanding account items.

Keep sensitive material out of the public inquiry

Start with a brief description. Arrange a suitable document-sharing method with CMS before providing employee information, incident details or login access.

Agree what happens next

Clarify who supplies information, who reviews answers, what CMS handles and which fees are separate. A written scope helps avoid assumptions about account approval or completion dates.
